Galvin Joins AIA College of Fellows

As of Friday, February 12, 2021, I am now a member of the National AIA, College of Fellows! This is the highest, nation-wide honor that my profession can bestow on one of its members, and in my case it reflects the importance that my profession places on public service and the pursuit of the common good. I am truly humbled and honored by this distinction. I am so grateful to the many people who have helped me achieve this honor, but I’m also grateful to have had the chance to serve the wonderful Charlottesville community for twelve years as a “citizen architect,” first on the city school board and then on city council.
