Wayland’s Grant

Wayland’s Grant is a twenty acre, in-fill site in Crozet, VA that was developed in a manner reminiscent of pre-WWII neighborhoods, with their walk-able streets, compact layouts and mixture of housing types, and before the adoption of Albemarle County’s Neighborhood Model. Plans, street elevations and 3-dimensional drawings were produced by Galvin Architects as part of a rezoning application. Since approval, the site has been building out over time in accordance with these illustrations and guidelines.
