In collaboration with Milt Herd (Herd Design and Planning), Galvin Architects conducted a series of workshops with the Mount Jackson community, designed to help the residents determine the most appropriate locations for growth and best patterns of development for the future. A walkable, compact, neighborhood-oriented vision emerged; one that promoted the preservation of existing historic architecture while safeguarding the surrounding rural area for farming.
